As with solely private housing you'll get no guarantees either way

In the past I've had the proverbial neighbours from hell and I was absolutely thrilled when a for sale sign went up outside their house and a couple of months later they'd pissed off to be neighbours with some other poor suspecting sods.
It's people at the end of the day - some are good, some are bad - both kinds will live in social housing as they will private housing.
