Anyone had experience with buying property very close to social housing?

Me and the Mrs want to move, have found a new build that we want but it's very close to social housing so putting some doubt in our minds.

Anyone had good/bad experiences with this? Are we worrying over nothing? Will the resale value of the house be affected?

Chairs in advance for any information.
