I rented a flat for a while directly opposite some social housing which was awful.

However, I think I was just really unlucky as out of the whole 100 or so flats, I only ever saw trouble with the scumbag who lived 10 metres from my window.

I've since lived in properties with no social housing and although no ones been as bad as that prick, there's still terrible people out there who rent or buy privately.

I wouldn't let it put you off..
