...but when we do get players in that are rated highly in footballing circles, we don't allow them the games to prove themselves at a professional level.

Jarvis is a great example as mentioned below, as is Danny Crow. What did he do so wrong in his few appearances that warranted releasing him?! Personally, I thought he looked really sharp - and he's continued to impress me when I've seen him at London Road (and my mates who are season ticket holders there).

Worthington would have a few less critics if he actually gave the youth a chance - it would be so much better to see someone who loves the shirt playing games rather than a journeyman who has no real affection for the club.
