There is the left wing argument as well

that the EU is essentially a neo-liberal trading block. And that it offers the most benefit to multinational corporations, who can 'negotiate' the most fiscally beneficial place to have their HQ and still enjoy frictionless trade. This often comes at the expense of nationalised industries and smaller domestic companies.

And also that national governments are prohibited from favouring and propping up certain domestic industries; which I think is the main reason that Corbyn has been so luke warm on the EU for most of his career. Basically, it would be very difficult to implement genuine socialist policies within the EU framework.

The problem for socialists who voted leave though is that they are so heavily outnumbered by the anti-immigration, little Englander crowd, that there is no chance of Brexit at this time going in the direction they would like.
