No, the protests started in 1994/5. The red card protest was against Liverpool: before we'd gone down. Protests against him selling our best players, you say? What exactly is it that we've done over the past two transfer windows?

It will always be a total mystery to me that so many Norwich fans were so hostile to Chase almost throughout his time at the club, despite him overseeing by far the most successful era in our history... while so few Norwich fans have been anything other than grateful to Delia, despite her more than two decades in charge having been mostly unsuccessful. Norwich fans, in fact, were more angry towards Nigel Worthington and Chris Hughton than we've ever been towards Delia and the board. Quite remarkable.

This, though, unless I've totally misunderstood you, is a very odd comment: "A deluded person would believe that change would equate to success and that no change equates to failure by their own measure".

Nope. Where we are right now is because of the lack of resources of our owners. That lack of resources has prevented us from ever establishing ourselves in the Prem in over two decades under their watch; and now, it's preventing us from challenging in this league too.

I don't think that 'change equates to success' - it'd depend entirely on what that change involved. I do think, and the evidence is very much on my side, that in this league now, no change equals no chance.

One other thing. If you could tell me when all those protesting against Chase were told "you find us another owner then!", I'd be most grateful. The double standards are almost unbelievable.
