trusting the Tories to deliver a referendum on ER is very different to trusting them to
actually deliver ER (which is what Labour are promising to do - but are even less likely to be able to follow through on)
i think this post User Posted Link pretty much sums up where i am at the moment
but i do take your point on settling on AV now meaning further ER is off the agenda for another 65 years or so, but i don't have your extraordinary faith that the majority of the electorate will do what it can to keep ER on the agenda if no deal is done on it now...
