After all, the only reason governments with a majority are deemed to be 'strong' governments is their ability to get their MPs to toe the party line and not defeat government legislation. If the article is saying all MPs should be free to vote as they see fit on everything then who cares who does or doesn't have a majority, it will be irrelevant. All legislation will stand or fall based on how many MPs can be persuaded to support it, regardless of their party affiliations.

Its a decent enough piece, but I don't see what it has to do with a Lab-Lib agreement specifically (unless it is suggesting that their MPs are more principled than Tory ones)
