I'm Enjoying The Debate!

I am not so politically "sussed" as many on here, and my own loyalties are, to say the least, unclear, but am finding all the current goings on fascinating!

The cynic in me is what is behind my slightly suspect predictions and yes, I now agree, I was a little unfair on Cameron by insisting he had no intention of doing a deal with the Lib Dems and I retract that. I do think, however, he is starting to look a little desperate in his offers and that opposition is not such a bad place to be as he (or Labour) may think, indeed, for the Conservatives, it wouldn't be a bad stance to take at all. They can't, of course, just sit back and declare thats where they want to be in the next Govt, but I don't think they should go as far as giving anything and everything to secure a coalition which may not last beyond a year-18 months.

PR of some kind is inevitable, and I think DC and the Conservatives have accepted that over the past few days. However, am not sure on the Labour idea of putting it into law first and then asking the nation to decide thats what we want!
