I think its perfectly possible for people to inadvertantly say racist things or things that can be interpreted as racist without themselves being racist. And all I am saying is if they do I don't think they deserve to be ruined as a consequence.

Norwaay you say nopbody is trying to ruin Michael Vaughan but they are and they will. He will lose sponsors, be ditched by broadcasters and essentially will probably now be unable to work for a period of time. I suspect he will get a lot of unpleasant personal abuse. Some may think thats fair enough and proportionate plus sets an example especially as he has not "owned it". I can see that argument. But I also feel a bit sorry for him because I really think that the one comment that has been alleged is, if true, a really minor indiscretion.
