I actually agree on much of that

e.g. Nightingales clearly the right move, whatever the eventual use of them turns out to have been. The track and trace is a major fail though, the lockdowns should have followed scientific advice more closely...well, best not go on.

But as ever the lens of "Tories Good" or "Tories Bad" is the wrong lens to view all these things through. There are decent, competent people in all parties; and awful, and incompetent people too. Any government will take some great decisions and some terrible ones, regardless of ideology. Same is true of "EU Good" or "EU Bad", come to that. But people gonna people.
