I'll out myself here as a cyclist. I do 10 miles to and from work in London each day. From my perspective the issues on the road aren't caused by cyclists - the environment to anyone not in a car is nothing but hostile and intimidating. I have been on the end of so much aggressive, inconsiderate or reckless behaviour that I couldn't even begin to describe it all. In most instances navigating the city I'll still usually get to where I'm going before the person in the car. Its so stupid I can't comprehend it.

Maybe take a week getting around by bike and tell us if it changes your opinion.
