Indeed.

The damage someone riding a bicycle might (or does) cause to anyone else, vs the damage we can all cause when we're driving a 1 1/2 tonne metal box (and probably twice as quickly) - not difficult to comprehend the difference.

And hence the huge difference between the numbers of deaths and serious injuries caused by car accidents, vs the tiny number caused by people on bikes - not even comparable.

Useful of canny to remind us all of the enormous difference between the two, though.
