That's the short version of what I'm saying. Perhaps the

model I describe isn't the best, but it's one I've actually experienced as working very well so is my only reference point other than the NHS.

My core point is simply that we must drop the idea of the NHS concept being holy, and be open to investigating new, scalable models which can survive the next 50 years.
