It needs more funding, it also needs to operate more efficiently as a whole. It never fails to amaze me how many staff there are in hospitals when you go there but obviously too many of the non essential type of staff and not enough of the levels we need.

Ultimately if you have a population which has grown by circa 500,000 every year for the best part of a decade, coupled with people living longer and longer then you are going to end up with a resource issue unless you chuck huge amounts of money at it.
