But despite all the horror stories, eg. Blackburn, Portsmouth or Charlton, remarkably few EFL clubs are at a much lower level than they naturally should be. In other words, the odds would be against some disaster happening under new owners. It's just that Delia and Michael take the worst case scenario, treat it as the rule, and ignore the huge amount of success stories at so many different clubs.
