I've just read the Laws of the Game on FIFA's website

I can't find anything about a player being off the pitch, only about the distance from the goal line.
Presumably if Pannuci had jumped into the stand he'd have caught RVN offside?

Surely someone must be able to find a link to the detailed rules.
