If a player voluntarily hobbles off the pitch injured (as the Barclay and no doubt other stands bay for a player to do if they go down near a line) - are they deemed onside becasue the ref hasnt seen them go off, or are they off for a legitimate reason, and out of the game.

Doesnt apply in this case of course - as Panucci clearly wasnt injured. At the time I was convinced the goal shouldnt have stood - now i am convined it should have.
