somebody in that mould. I actually rate Martin Allen and Mick Newell although I know some don't. (Traditionally assistants/coaches do often find it difficult to 'step up' don't they - Brian Kidd, Sammy Lee, Steve McClaren)

The point is, for me, that we have the worst of both worlds - problems off the field AND a really poor manager. Honestly he fills me with dread - he upsets the players, blames everyone else, seems to have a real penchant for playing people out of position and tactically it's just horrible.

My particular disgust at his butchery of the English language is, I'll admit, my problem and not really relevant but it does irritate me.

Honestly, really truly, I think he's an absolute disaster of an appointment and nobody could be worse.
