Wasn't there yesterday, but was at Charlton

It wasn't the result that upset me so much (though the timing and manner of it did upset me), it was the shape, the selection and the performance. We're all armchair tactical geniuses - but surely any fool can see that the 4-5-1 is simply misconceived with the players used.

I've said before and will again that Grant needs his head and we can't judge for months yet. But part of the process of it all gelling is that when the inevitable mistakes are made - we are after all all human - they are recognised and corrected. Again, I wasn't there yesterday, but what I saw on the highlights looked like something straight out of Worthy's last year. Certainly I can't see much improvement from Tuesday.

I also worry that he might have lost the dressing room a bit, but that's speculation really.

So I'm still in the KTF camp - give the guy till Xmas then take a fresh look. But I'm increasingly uneasy.

If it does go the wrong way I hope the Board takes a firm decision in time and doesn't delay like they did with Worthy.
