It's nice to reference success.

Where I think it is misjudged is when they suggest that their 'history' is a selling point for managers or players.

I doubt any of them care.

It could even be regarded as a bit of a millstone if a small, but vocal, chunk of fans think that the natural level of Ipswich is in the Prem and potentially competing.

The world has changed radically even since their last visit to the top table.
