of course I can't give a name which would guarantee promotion - nor have I claimed that.

I'm simply responding to the comments from the board and some supporters that we should have patience because this is a transition season. Why do we need to have a transition season? Particularly during a season where we have the vast bulk of a squad that was deemed good enough that they should have been promotion challenging last season - hence why Neil and Irvine were replaced despite finishing 8th.

Imo, it's a cop out to say they are planning for the future and it's part of a long term plan. Because, in terms of talent at the manager's disposable, it's difficult to see when we will next have more than we have this season.
