doesnt make them any more "important" than engineers or other skilled workers imo...

in fact theres been a decline on engineers in this country till fairly recently....

Britain used to make stuff, not just assemble it and once we were world leaders.... thankfully now the country is finding its feet we're starting to manufacture more and hopefully there will be a growth of engineers too....
