I always think that 'Youth international' tag is a complete red herring

I'm sure there is a ridiculous number of former 'Youth Internationals' who don't make it, compared to those who weren't Youth Internationals.

I'll never forget that famous story about Leeds Youth Team and Man Utd's Youth team (when Beckham/Scholes etc was in it). Leeds won the Youth Cup that year - beating Man Utd in the final. Yet, none of that Leeds team made it as pros - but at least half a dozen of Man Utd's went on to become international superstars! It just shows, showing great promise as a youngster doesn't mean you've made it - you have to go and produce when it really matters - first team level.

But yeah - it would be nice to have some youngsters coming through - I agree. And it is traditional at Norwich. We haven't had much for years.
