I don't want McNally to stay for that reason. I think he's exhausted and has run his course with us; but do Tweedledum and Tweedledee have the ability to get the right people in?

That's where the problem is. Momentum initially has an absolute ton to do with the manager; but when they leave, it's down to the board. Most (us post-Lambert and post-Walker; Leicester post-O'Neill; Charlton post-Curbishley; Bolton post-Allardyce; Swansea post-Laudrup) fail - which stands to reason given those clubs over-achieved so substantially to begin with.
