Outside the top 7 in the Prem

9 (of the remaining 13) have been in a lower league in recent times, the other 4 have been in pretty desperate relegation struggles year after year.

Seems to me that regulation for a club like ours is virtually inevitable at some point; there is no such thing as "mid table club".
