Honestly a big part of me feels that way

and a big part of me notes Daniel's EPL record and penchant for leaving two expensive left backs out and playing someone who isn't actually a left back at left back and so on. For example. He was honestly struggling as a coach at EPL level. (and I was and remain a massive fan of his who would have loved him to stay).

But the power of a unifying vision, at least at the football level, is something we very much had and now very much don't. This kind of thing isn't overnight and really S+S will need a couple of years to get that kind of thing going again but with their vision instead of Daniel's.
