I’m not even completely convinced that it was Deansmith that got things moving. We’ll never know for sure, but hadn’t Daniel already started to turn things around?

We’ve been fighting an up hill battle since pre season though. Losing Emi and Skippy was MASSIVE AND destroyed any momentum we might have carried forward. Then we had covid plus so many new, young and inexperienced players to try to fit in. Add that to an awful fixture list at the start of the season and some bizarre fluctuations in style over those first few games. It’s AMAZING we’re only 3 points adrift
