It totally is.

These player valuations are INSANE. There is no way that the income exists to justify these valuations. My guess is that they only make sense if you assume that you will later be able to sell your 30m player for 50m, as the whole pyramid will just keep going with ever higher valuations.

Maybe it will never stop. Maybe it needs a REALLY big club to go to the wall.
