We've been switched to British Gas after our supplier was one of the first two which went
bust.
We've not been put on their standard variable tariff, however it certainly isn't as good a price as that which I'd switched to our previous supplier on only a month before. I'm also still waiting a) for British Gas to set both of our accounts up properly and b) for the credit which we'd accrued from 2 DD payments to the previous supplier to be transferred over.
Yes, I'm a little miffed that we've had to go through this whilst the Gov have happily stepped in to prevent the same thing happening to Blub customers - either let all failing suppliers go under or support them all, don't pick and choose.
