I mean you don't know me or my level of intelligence...

But resorting to name calling isn't a logical way to debate my friend. You aren't going to win hearts and minds with that approach.

Lets talk about facts instead.

The first coronavirus deaths happened outside of China in February. At the time they only had a few thousand deaths reported vs a population of billion... it looked bad, but maybe like sars that never reached these shores.

Only a couple weeks later, on 7th March we had 200 cases total detected. On the 8th March we had our third death. On 14th March we had our 21st death. We announced non essential travel only and WFH on the 16th March. Main businesses started to close at that point and. 20th March they annouce the furlough scheme. 23rd March full lockdown.

So we went from 3 deaths total to announcing initial measures in less than a week and then full lockdown 2 weeks after.

So I may be thick in your eyes, but not sure they delayed massively. Should we have locked down when there was zero deaths?
