inexperience is no excuse for idiocy

anyone who watched evenan average amount of prem football would know that technical ability is essential, and that the best way of negating skilful opponents is to be able to keep the ball yourself.
Our Championship-winning team had 3 players who CLEARLY lacked the technical ability to thrive in the Prem - Malky, Flem & Holt. One was dumped, yet another (his almost exact double in footballing terms) started every game, and the other was a (rather embarrassing) first choice starte until April. And if you are "under resourced" you can't afford to waste money on players who you are then going to play out of poistion or leave in the reserves.
We all knew it would be very difficult, but Palace, Saints and Baggies were all crap last year and if Worthy had got some very very basic decisions right we could well have stayed up.
