To be honest for lost premier league clubs there would appear to me to be plenty of room in the calendar. We hardly had any midweek games last season. It’s realky just the teams competing in Europe. Some realism there from UEFA would be welcome (perhaps limiting the fixtures in their competitions (if they can be played) to create breathing space) but I won’t hold my breath for that!

The EFL Cup May have to take even more of a back burner for a year as well.
