All clubs will have top lawyers though, I do agree though that if the

only claimants arguing over relegation would be Fulham and (possibly) the other playoff teams then it would certainly limit the number of potential legal claims and I think they would have an uphill task to win.

£200k in legal costs is not a lot to clubs in the context of promotion to or relegation from the prem.
