Bus/tube/overground ride away

- Highbury Barn
- Kentish Town/Tufnell Park
Rich, popular, and/or a bit soulless
- Battersea
- Clapham
- Marylebone
Basically there's loads of options depending on budget/wishes/tastes. Stack up a load of viewings, get in a Air BnB for a week near central(ish) transport hub in a possible area and get discovering...
