London
Friend is being relocated through work to London in March and will be working near Bank/Cannon Street. Has never lived in London before so is asking for recommendations. She wants to live in Canary Wharf but I've told her to consider other options.
I have no idea where is cool/safe/fun these days but I know that Borough market isn't a million miles away and is very nice; not sure whether it is somewhere people would recommend to live though? I know these things change in London very quickly...Any ideas? Aldgate? Brick Lane? Are these places people like to live these days?
As she is moving from Manhattan, what she thinks is a small budget I expect will go a lot further here.
Ideally she would like to flatshare if anyone knows of somewhere that is going to be available from around April this year.
