I get your stance is that you want the Uk to remain

I respect that - we all have different views and as I have said below I would actually prefer to remain than leave on some of the terms suggested as alternatives to May's deal. But i think that the insinuation that anyone in favour of Brexit or even who doesn't mind Brexit is an idiot is unhelpful - even if used as a semi hunorous turn of phrase.

There were and are plenty of sound arguments for Brexit jjst as there were or are sound arguments to remain.

I saw some polling yesterday which revealed that firm remainers are far less tolerant of the views of leavers than the other way around. Posts on here continue to demonstrate that. It should be perfectly possible for us to debate all this civilly and I don;t think pointing out that it is open and possible for the EU to compromise on the backstop is outrageous. The difficulty of course is that the Irish border is a very difficult, almost impossible square to circle in a scenario where you divorce the future relationship talks from the withdrawal. As I have said before that's really the answer to this, extend the process (whether through Art 50, the transition or the backstop) so you have enough time to get everything agreed.
