PM: Jim (warning - brexit)
I think I treat the WOTB as it should be. A sounding board for opinions on most matters, and not to be taken too seriously. But sometimes, just sometimes..
Your comments earlier ‘if May went back robustly on the backstop’. Not the first time you have suggested this claptrap. Absolutely no will for it. What is it that the Irish have done to you. It seems to have affected you on a very personal level that you are prepared to wilfully cause harm to our nearest neighbours so you can have the the brexit you think YOU deserve.
You also talk of your villagers prepared to see hard brexit. The WA on offer from May and overwhelmingly voted down by Parliament is what was originally defined as hard brexit. The deliberate rebranding by leavers over the last 2+ years means that NO DEAL is now considered hard brexit. It never was.

I dislike T May more intensely as each day passes. But to label her incompetent suggests someone else could have done it better. The fact is there could never be a good brexit because it only ever existed in empty slogans, lies and false promises made by gangsters who were never going to deliver on them. Within minutes of the referendum result the Red Bus “£350 million a week to the NHS” had been disowned by everybody who had been stood grinning in front of it for months on end.
If anyone doesn’t know the levels of illegal funding, targeted disinformation and foreign interference that went into the 2016 Referendum, all linked to the election of Trump, they have not been paying attention. The referals to the NCA and known cover-ups by T May should in themselves be cause to halt the whole process.
To still be advocating we respect that vote, blame the EU for not caving in and fail to distinguish between hard brexit and no deal does indeed single you out as one of Mogg/Farage/Putin’s ‘Useful Idiots’.
If you get what you want or otherwise support a no deal disaster that others might want, I hope you and yours are not in need of cancer treatment or diabetic drugs, or are not sitting in a pub the next time a bomb goes off. It doesn’t seem to matter to no deal supporters that they might harm my family.
Personally, I’d settle for pissing-off a few Yaxley Lennon Jilted Johns, rather than the genuine civil unrest that would come from a population short on food and medicine. (T May has the army on standby for either event - that wasn't mentioned in the campaign)
I’m not saying any of this from any ‘I told you so’ standpoint. Pre 2016 I had no interest in the EU, as I had no grievance. Bent or straight bananas didn’t bother me, so I was blindsided when the Ref was called. As we know now, even Cameron didn’t think he would need to do it. But the hysteria immediately whipped up by a Nazi style industrial propaganda machine has maliciously convinced everyone with an axe to grind that it is all the fault of the EU, foreigners, the ‘elite’ – anyone and anything to divide the country. I’ve spent the last two years slowly catching up. Remember those grinning imbeciles in front of the red bus. They were laughing at you, me, the whole UK. They still are.
I have no respect for them, or anyone who still thinks any brexit is a good idea despite the evidence staring them in the face. To borrow your terminology regarding Westminster, I think I know who the real Fuckwits are.
Too many words.
