You can do it less expensively if you go off the tourist trail to eat, etc.

Get your bearings, everywhere is walking distance but a vaporetto on the canal is worth it for the views.

Florian Cafe in St Marks is a bjt pricey but a good experience... we just had a coffee and cake.

The Capanile (Bell tower) in St Marks is worth it for the great views... beware if it's gonna strike midday though... BONG BONG BONG... v loud if you're up there 🔔🔊
