are hideously expensive but there is a loophole.
Some hotels offer a trip to Murano, by water taxi. Once there you will be shown the glasswares, none of which are priced.
Once they know you aren't going to buy they will desert you, leaving you to find your own way back to the mainland (water buses run)
But worth it for the taxi-ride.
