we've still spent €15m - plus all the signing on fees, agent fees etc... regardless of sales. So we are not skint. A skint team would be scraping the barrel and picking up a few loans or free transfers to be able to register the squad. A position we have been in several times over the past 20 years. Not now though.

We could have spent that €15m however we wanted, and we chose to play the long game with it. It's a gamble - because it depends enormously on the quality of two pretty unproven guys in Farke and Webber. If they turn out to be duds, then we could quite easily end up in League 1 in the near future, and then we could really be skint.
