....I accept the weather is more predictable and consistent in mainland Europe (which I suppose is why we Brits have the weather as a regular topic of conversation) but my point remains that a Winter break in January in the UK is probably pointless as the worst weather often happens in Feb/Mar.

Out of interest how have the Dutch fans taken to games being re-arranged at short notice? Can't see it being well received here but I suppose it works in the Netherlands as the country is that bit smaller and fans can travel anywhere in the country within a couple of hours maximum.
