Fair enough if they're that good

And I totally recognise that we are never going to be able to stop a player wanting to go to Man U or Chelsea or Liverpool

What I do mind is being in a financial state whereby we HAVE to sell just to keep our heads above water, with the playing squad not getting the benefits of the sale money

It's particularly galling at the moment because we could have consolidated in the Prem and been in a much better financial position. And galling this time because it's not Liverpool or Chelsea luring a cracking young player away - it's reportedly West Brom, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Swansea. Hardly glamour destinations (actually Saints are pretty glamourous these days)
