Isn't the only form of action the board could take, or be taking

Their choice isn't between sacking AN or doing nothing

Them not doing the one action you want isn't the same as them taking no action

Board might be doing all sorts of things to safeguard the club's future

Sacking the manager is an easy demand but not necessarily the right one
