Do you think, let's say China, will take us more seriously as just Britain or as part of

the EU with all that would bring? Would we have the same bargaining power? The only argument I can see instantly is the reduction in regulation, but the only winners would be those who were then able to exploit that lack of regulation. I don't think that would be us, frankly. Which part of society benefits most from a lack of regulation? What happens when part of an economy, for the sake of argument, is deregulated? Does the man in the street, to use a cliche, end up better off? I don't think so.
