yep, long term it would be disastrous for the UK

I think the great irony could be, that after all the concerns and talk about immigration, it could be emigration that will end up most damaging the UK if they leave the EU.

Both in terms of businesses leaving and, subsequently, young skilled British workers heading overseas to seek out the better employment opportunities. That's the kind of downward economic spiral that is very difficult to get out of.
