I think we got the points because of Lambert not the players

he could have signed almost anyone and the confidence in the squad and momentum, plus the aura that he had would probably have kept us up.

They were poor long term signings though. All of them are back in the lower leagues now, or are in our reserves, suggesting they just don't have the quality. As Brandonio said as well , they were only suited to play to Lambert's really direct style, there was no continuity plan in place once Lambert left. They appointed a manager with a completely different style.
