some of whom we are still paying to sit on the bench or play with the reserves. It was an awful transfer window for the long term future of the club.

I don't think the window when we got RvW was that bad (him aside). We made a huge profit on Fer who. Olsson and Redmond were both very good long term signings at a good price.

Garrido was a cheap backup and Hooper was OK too (5m or whatever he cost for a 6 goal return is about par).
