I mentioned earlier somewhere

That in chelt in the 90's we had a really decent liberal run council - trying to remember the MP's name but cant! All i can remember is that he was attacked by a machete weilding loon at his surgery, an assistant was sadly killed but he survived if i remember rightly - cant remember whether he restood.... Cheltenham was always a great place to live and the local council back in the day served the locals very well. I voted for them locally amd different come general election.
