I think part of what he was saying

is that if a woman wishes to avoid pentrative sex with footballer B, she would be reasonably well advised not to take off her clothes, get into bed with footballers A and B, have sex with A, oral sex with B, etc etc. It doesn't make B's conduct (if not consensual) any less criminal, but it does make the woman a little unwise perhaps to have put herself in that position in the first place? Take this case for example: I walk around the roughest part of London at 1oclock in the morning with a great big valuable camera draped round my neck. Camera gets nicked, pretty predictably. It's a crime, and not excusable. But how sensisble was I?
